Wonderful experience. They were very responsive and able to come out to do the work right away. They were quick, efficient and very professional. We have a shed and a swing set in our back yard and they were very careful to make sure no branches hit anything. They cleaned up beautifully and left us some neatly chopped firewood (at our request). Their price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this company!

Our trees were out of control & we needed to call in the professionals for this round of pruning! They came out quickly and provided us with a fair quote. Within a couple of weeks, they were able to return and complete the job exactly as planned. They pruned the trees and cleaned up all of the debris within only a few hours. Ryan and his crew are wonderful. They provided a fair estimate and did a great job at the price they estimated. We had several large limbs hanging over our pool cage, several other branches hanging low over our yard and driveway from the neighbors home. AWESOME TOP NOTCH COMPANY!! I was so lucky to find Veteran Tree Service LLC and owner Ryan Loftis in Holiday, Florida! I was faced with a serious and horrible situation which involved two trees over the roof of our home and actually leaning over the neighbors as well. Being thousands of miles away, I felt totally helpless and could not afford a bid that was taken by the property manager for trees and other necessary work related to them. I found Ryan Loftis on homeadvisors! He was genuinely concerned about what was happening and went out almost immediately to take pictures for me and evaluate the problem and job. He told me if they could be trimmed then that is what he would do for me. Upon checking them though it was best to remove the trees. With in a few days he was out there and did the job. He did an awesome job, they were actually in a very hard place to remove in regards to their positioning between our house and the neighbors and very little space between the houses. One of them was actually leaning over the neighbors house like the Leaning Tower of Pisa and extremely tall. I have to say I could feel his honest nature over the phone and his compassion for me. He is a veteran and that is so evident in how he is willing to give so much to help people by offering fair prices and even will work with people on payment if they are in a bind. He is a family man with values. I actually cannot say enough great things about Ryan and his company. I could finally sleep at night after speaking with him the first time on the phone. I knew he was going to help me. I spoke with him the first time on May 18 and the trees were out on May 24. I would like to express our kindest thanks to the Team at Veterans Tree Service for the excellent hard work they did at our home in St. Petersburg, Fl. after we interviewed many Services.We had a very large diseased 40 ft Laurel Oak in the front yard with dead large branches over both the house and driveway causing risk and damage to the home and property .We could not even park in the driveway because of falling branches and some had fallen on the roof with concern for damage with larger branches.The tree needed to be removed in a timely manner and they went above and beyond what would be expected to get the job done right away with their team.The owner Ryan & team were great and gave us a very reasonable price and they were 100% Professional with everything including cleanup.I am Proud to support our Veterans and would surely reccomend them to anyone looking for a Tree Service. I had about 5 estimates for work on two live oaks and a couple of palm trees. I immediately felt comfortable with Ryan and his business and the price was fair. He answered ALL of my questions and responded quickly to my emails, He showed up on time and the crew worked until they had nothing left. Veterans tree service did an outstanding job. Had an oak tree leaning over house that had gotten attacked by a bark beetle leaving many tunnels in our tree. 40 tunnels as of last count. Ryan & Team are the best. We had scheduled with them for a somewhat routine tree trimming (of a neighbor's tree branch that hung over the roof of our children's rooms). The situation changed to more serious, and when we sent Ryan a text photo, he arranged his schedule so that he could help us the next morning. He's knowledgeable about tree health, tree cutting, and which trees are protected from cutting. He was sweet with our kids and our dogs. His team was kind, professional, and courteous. They cleaned up after the job. We couldn't have asked for a better experience -- and the price was lower than the competition. I called Ryan after a major branch feel off of one of our trees. He was at my house the next day to take it out because the tree was in such bad shape. The large maple was down in less than 30 minutes. Ryan climbed the tree in no time and his crew below did an excellent job cleaning everything up. I needed to remove two dead trees and trim several branches banging over my roof. After I did google search, I decided to contact Veteran Tree Service. Ryan came over and gave me the estimate, he was very knowledgeable, professional yet friendly and helpful. So decided to hire the company. Ryan and his team showed up on time to trim two trees on my property. One tree was in my backyard and was growing through all the county electrical wires and was hanging over my pool cage. Since they couldn't bring their heavy equipment in my back yard his his had to carefully climb the tree to trim it making sure not to harm themselves or my lanai. They did a masterful job. Once completed they cleaned and raked my whole property and removed the cuttings. They left the property looking better then it looked before they started. Veterans Tree Service came in at a good price but even better than that they we extremely professional and efficient! They worked around my fence, large shed, and kids swingset with zero issues! We had a large branch on our Live Oak removed, one third of our Laurel Oak removed and two palm trees trimmed last November. The estimate process was very professional with photos taken to ensure everyone knew what was expected. The guys were able to complete the job in one day. No damage and great cleanup.

Ryan and his guys were AWESOME! Very professional and did everything I asked for, EVEN MORE!! They removed 7 palm trees from my property in less than an hour, cleaned up everything, and even blew off my deck and front porch and took care of cleaning off my front door mat and getting any dust off my truck! They deliver! I had a 60’ oak tree, mostly dead at the top, with a power line, new drain field and a row of crept myrtles surrounding the tree. Ryan assured me it was NOT going to be the major challenge that I was anticipating. They came in the next day, at a great price, and had the tree down, removed and lawn manicured in about 3 hours. I was very impressed and have already scheduled them to come out for a full day next month to clean up some of the rest of my trees.

I had a 30+ yo sweetgum that had rotten branches and was deemed a hazard by a few arborists. I had gotten four quotes and VTS's wasn't the lowest, but it was the best value. Ryan and his team from VTS came out and made short work of it, cleaned everything up and had the stump ground and a tree planted in the same day. As a contractor myself, I look for professionalism in everyone I hire to do any kind of work for me. Ryan and his team brought that professionalism, kept safe control of their worksite and maintained good communication with each other and myself. 🌀 Hurricane Laura Response Team in Louisiana ⛑️Removed 2 - 70ft pine trees plus 7 add'l trees in a small city yard 👍👍👍👍👍 Well managed team of genuine, knowledgeable, and hard working guys who understand homeowner concerns, situational awareness, concise estimates, respect for property, and great pride in work. The quoting process was quick and extremely fair - this team did not take advantage of a poor situation. Ryan reviewed the details before an agreement was made, called a day ahead to confirm their arrival, delivered a final product beyond our expectations. The large trees still standing after the hurricane were removed as well as a towering 70ft pine all with precision and safety. Even though it was made known that the saturated property would be impossible to keep intact with heavy equipment nor could they blow it clear without a trace, the team took extra care to leave no trace - the smallest of debris was removed, the skid steer was not needlessly pivoted, and a final walk down was carried out. None of them missed their mark and in the worst of summer conditions, this team kept spirits high and treated my family with great respect. We cannot thank you all enough for your help and support to our family and neighbors.

Not only did Ryan come out on a Sunday to meet with us to discuss our needs, but when I told him that we needed a certain tree removed ASAP, his crew was out the next day to get the job done. We’ve had a bunch of quotes and not only did Veteran come in the lowest, but they are licensed, insured, and have workers comp insurance.
